<p>To my dismay, she was separating the yolks into a glass bowl and dunking the egg whites into the pan. </p>
<p>Immediately, I asked her&#8230; &#8220;What the heck are you doing?&#8221;</p>
<p>She replied by telling me, that she was getting rid of the &#8220;bad&#8221; part (the yolk) of the egg.</p>
<p>This couldn&#8217;t be a better example of how confused people are about what bad food really is. </p>
<p>Somehow companies and corporate America have confused the general public into believing that yolks are the worst part of the egg. When in reality, the egg yolk is the most nutrient dense part of the egg.</p>
<p>Throwing out the yolk, would be like throwing out the protein in a steak. </p>
<p>It&#8217;s full of antioxidants, nutrients, minerals and dozens of vitamins. Along with trace minerals, loads of vitamin A, lutein and gobs of B-vitamins. </p>
<p>Egg whites don&#8217;t even have a fraction of of the vitamins and minerals. You do get a portion of the protein, but that&#8217;s all. </p>
<p>This isn&#8217;t even including into the argument, organic free range eggs. Which we&#8217;ll talk about shortly.</p>
<p>Egg yolks also contain all of the essential fatty acids, all the soluble vitamins A, D, E and K. Plus the majority of the iron, calcium, B6, folate and panthothenic acid. Do you really want to throw all this away?</p>
<p>Even after presenting all this in an argument, in favor of egg yolks, the big concern finally comes out&#8230; </p>
<p><strong>&#8220;But I&#8217;ve always heard that egg yolks will skyrocket cholesterol and lead to clogged arteries?&#8221;<br />

Nothing could be further from the truth! </p>
<p><em>Here is how it works:</em></p>
<p>Your body is very smart and when it is lacking in something vital, it will create it. When you eat food that contains high amounts of cholesterol, your body de-regulates its ability to produce cholesterol in order to balance itself out.</p>
<p>The opposite is also true, if you don&#8217;t eat any cholesterol, your body immediately creates more since it has so many vital functions in your body.</p>
<p>If you spend enough time online, you will be able to find countless studies that indicate that eating whole eggs raises your good cholesterol (HDL). Improving the overall cholesterol ratio&#8217;s in your body.</p>
<p>In saying this, anyone telling you, &#8220;you need to lower your cholesterol&#8221; would be completely wrong. </p>
<p>Having high cholesterol is not a disease. Cholesterol is a vital substance in your body, that carries out very important functions. Don&#8217;t listen to the billion-dollar pharmaceutical companies, when they get doctors to prescribe statin drugs to you, to help you &#8220;lower your cholesterol.&#8221;</p>
<p>Lastly, the yolks contain all the rich antioxidants, like lutein. Which can help shield you from deadly inflammation. Which is real main cause of heart disease, not cholesterol. </p>
<p>To close Im going to leave you with a very important study done by the University of Connecticut. </p>
<p>The study showed that a group of men who ate 3 eggs per day for 12 weeks, while on a reduced carb, high fat diet increased their HDL cholesterol by over 20%. While their LDL cholesterol stayed the same throughout the whole study. </p>
<p>On the other end of the study, they had a group that ate egg substitutes (egg whites) that saw no change in either of their cholesterol lvl&#8217;s. And no improvement in their good cholesterol, like the whole egg group experienced.  </p>
<p>To finish I want to let you in on what a &#8220;healthy&#8221; egg should have and what a &#8220;unhealthy&#8221; egg looks like&#8230;</p>
<p>Your average supermarket egg that comes from massive factory farms, are completely different in nutrient density as compared to organic free range eggs from a healthy chicken that is allowed to roam all day freely, in the sunshine eating a natural diet. </p>
<p>Supermarket eggs have a higher amount of Omega-6&#8242;s and a lower amount of Omega-3&#8242;s. Not to mention higher vitamin and mineral levels too.</p>
<p>Most people don&#8217;t know how different store bought eggs are in comparison to organic free range eggs, simply because they have never bought them before. </p>
<p>The eggs you get from a grocery store are a pale yellow, with a week shell. A healthy free range organic egg, has a strong heavy shell and a deep orange yolk. Indicating a much higher amount of nutrients and carotenoids. </p>
<p>This is simply because a free range hen is allowed to eat grasses, worms and insects. Transferring a much higher amount of nutrients directly to the egg. As compared to an unhealthy hen that is trapped inside a dark factory hen house. With nothing to eat by corn and soy. </p>

Johnson, PH.D, M.P.H, R.D, professor of nutrition at the University of Vermont in Burlington, concluded: </p>
<p>High intake of sugars is implicated in numerous poor health conditions, including obesity, brain tumors, cancers and high blood pressure. Along with other risk factors for heart disease and stroke.</p>
<p>According to the study, most American women should consume no more than 100 calories or 25 grams of added sugars per day. Most men should stick to no more than 150 calories, or 37.5 grams.</p>
<p>Personally, I think this is perfect for losing tons of belly fat. <p>Most people are usually very shocked when I tell them to eliminate these 2 foods from their diet. But almost immediately they start to see benefits in reduction in belly fat and weight loss.</p>
<p>The first type of food that I&#8217;m going to talk about is wheat and whole wheat. Breads, cereals, pastas, bran muffins etc. Even the almighty whole wheat, that many bread companies is selling to you as healthy and nonfattening.</p>
<p>Many people in our modern world don&#8217;t realize they were never meant to eat wheat in their diet. And in fact a large percentage of the population has a major intolerance to the gluten in wheat grains.</p>
<p>People who are celiacs are the most sensitive to these types of foods. And its because the human digestive system has not adapted to eating large quantities of wheat in their daily diets.</p>
<p>In fact, it has only been introduced to us humans in large quantities as little as 80 or so years ago. A very little time frame when you compare it to what has been in our diets since the beginning of time when are ancestors where hunting meats and gathering vegetables, fruits, nuts and seeds.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Probably the top way to lose stomach fat fast with is not aerobic workouts but anaerobic workouts. An anaerobic exercise is where more oxygen is used, than the body is able to replenish, for the muscles that are doing the work.</p>
<p>Most people choose to do aerobic exercises to lose their belly. Usually cardio done in the so called fat burning zone at a steady state of 45min to 1hr.</p>
<p>This type of cardio does not allow you to leverage the effect of burning thousands of calories after you have left the gym.</p>
<p>But anaerobic exercise does do that. And its a big factor in raising your metabolic rate long term.</p>
<p>So you are able to burn tons of calories even while you sit and watch your tv show.</p>
<p>Here are 3 examples of anaerobic workouts you can use today to lose your stomach fat fast:</p>
<p>1. High intensity running: These are awesome for fat loss. All you do is alternate from 60 to 70% intensity to 85 or 95% intensity. Over and over again, usually 3 to 8 intervals will suffice.</p>
<p>So you would start with a 3 to 5 min jog to warm-up then follow it with a 30 second all out sprint. Once you are done with the sprint, complete the interval by a medium jog. This will allow you to catch your breath, so you can run the next intense session at full capacity.</p>
<p>2. Circuit Training: This involves linking exercises together with no rest in between. Only once you have completed all the exercises can you rest, before starting the circuit all over again.</p>
<p>Here is a simple example:</p>
<p>Squats, Pull-ups, Deadlifts, Presses, Rest</p>
<p>Very simple, but incredibly effective at burning fat.</p>
<p>3. Swimming: This is a very underrated and usually over looked exercise. The first time I did it, I just about drowned from exhaustion.</p>
<p>This is an anaerobic exercise that can also be done long and steady state. To make it anaerobic, all you have to do is structure like your high intensity running.</p>
<p>Example: Warm-up, Very fast swim, Moderate swim and rinse and repeat.</p>

Problems that she said always involved yo-yo dieting and losing and gaining fat all the time.</p>
<p>She then goes on to talk about diet traps and how she tried everything from diet pills to expensive programs and ended up heavier than when she started. And for many more pages it continues with this story, showing examples of what she went through. Trying as hard as she can to relate to the majority of people out in the world who have gone through these problems as well.</p>
<p>After this it starts out on health and weight loss concepts. Actually probably a lot of things you have heard many times and just haven&#8217;t put in your life quite yet. Here are a few:</p>

<p>The main stigma that I got from the Food Lovers Fat Loss System is that diet should never be in your vocabulary if you are looking to really lose weight. And that training should be easy to fit in, in any lifestyle. Here are some things I read in the book that I didn&#8217;t really agree with&#8230; He doesn&#8217;t exactly state that he is anti-fat but he is very big in never eating egg yolks. For me that&#8217;s a big no no. In fact all the nutrients in eggs is in the egg yolk. It makes the proteins more bio-available for your body and the cholesterol it raises, is your good cholesterol.</p>
<p>Next, he does no mention of any nutrient dense vegetables&#8230; Nothing green. He talks about romaine lettuce and so forward but that will not do anything for keeping you full in the long run and usually its recipe for going hungry. And if you look at a lot of the reviews this is a major complaint. That they are always feeling hungry. Fat and high fiber vegetables are essential to keeping you feeling full and giving your body what it needs to lose fat.</p>
<p>Notice I said lose fat?</p>
<p>The third complaint I have seen a lot has to do with the idea he has about weight loss vs fat loss. Now, one simple question&#8230; Would you rather lose strictly fat, or would you rather your lose be a combination of muscle, water and fat?</p>
<p>Duh, you always want to be maximizing the fat loss side of things and keeping as much muscle as possible. This is the ultimate key to long term leanness. Muscle will give you a high metabolic rate, allowing you to burn fat forever, even as you just sit on the couch watching your favorite tv show.</p>
<p>Now, I will say that there is a lot of positives with the book. It teaches that everything revolves around habits and that is completely true. You have to break old habits and form new ones to ever have success at losing fat. He also goes on to explain training and has detailed pictures on how to do certain exercises. The newbie will greatly benefit from this section, and give them a solid platform to go into the gym with.</p>
<p>All in all the Robert Ferguson Food Lovers Fat Loss System is mostly going to benefit people who are completely new and know nothing about fat loss or training. If you are looking for something a little more advanced and has cutting edge idea&#8217;s that you haven&#8217;t heard before you might have to go elsewhere.</p>
